  1. Yes, because the hawks they used to scare them away supposely wasn't able to scare them off so they had to shoot them.


  2. Yeah it really happened. Pigeons were distracting the players, and leaving droppings on restaurant tables.   They have hawks to help keep pigeons away, but it wasn't completely working.  So they did what they had to do and shot them. Good for them. They are just dirty and health hazards anyways.

  3. It happened in a doubles match a while back, when a guy was hitting a forehand and he accidentally hit a bird in the air and killed it. Also, at this years Wimbledon, Anna Chavataze (or however you spell her name) was playing a point, and a bird popped out of nowhere in the middle of the court and Anna still won the point. She didn't kill the bird though, and it flew safely away. Weird, huh?
