Killing time before I'm induced... Baby names?

Question

Well, I was supposed to be induced this morning because I'm 42 weeks pregnant, but thanks to our wonderful NHS, there are no beds available.

Anyway... now I'm killing time... waiting until much later this afternoon to find out what's happening...

In the meantime, what do you think of these names? Which do you prefer? I think I've put them in my order of preference...

I do like Poppy Wilson without the 'Andrea' and spelt as 'Poppie'

I think Vivienne Andrea Wilson sounds beautiful! I don't care for Poppy at all. Hazel Andrea also sounds nice.

I really like Poppy, Hazel, and maybe Vivienne.

If you're going to have an Anna name, I think you should go for Annalise or Annaliese, same thing just spelt differently. Only thing is I think it doesn't sound as good with Andrea, because both names begin with the 'AN' sound. It sounds OK, but not as good as the other names.

I think you should wait until you have the baby, and actually look her in the eyes.

Well good luck for going into hospital later and congratulations when baby  arrives. I think Anna Lee is really nice. Goes nice with Wilson too.

You have my full sympathies. I was induced at 42 weeks 3 years ago in a full hospital. I was given the first pessary at 7am and the 2nd dose was supposed to be administered at 6pm however they refused to do it because they were too busy. Don't let them start you off until they can promise you continuity. Time killing options: Walk - a lot - as much as you can. Hopefully it will bring on natural labour. Sleep, again as much as you can. Induced births can take a couple of days and, although you will sleep a little, you will be tired. If this is your first baby; chat to all your friends on the phone, you won't have so much time after the baby arrives.

Of your name options I like Hazel Andrea best, but wait until you have seen her to decide. Poppy is cute but she'll be a 50 year old one day and it's a little girls name (to me anyway).
