Killishin Lady favourite for the Grade A2 race at Hall Green
Killishin Lady is likely to prevail in the Grade A2 flat race at Hall Green in England on Monday, March 5, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded with a cash prize of £122.
The 480 metres race is scheduled to start at 11:34 GMT and the runners confirmed for it are: Killishin Lady, Scala Ranger, Ask Flash, Crokers Beer, Greycott Gwen and Avonside Knight.
The reason why the bookmakers have given the best odds to Killishin Lady is that she has been doing a fabulous job in recent times. Other than that, she also likes the conditions at Hall Green, which will make it difficult for the punters to place their
bets against her victory.
C. Kyme’s trained runner performed really well in her last outing at this venue, as she finished runner up. She was not the favourite to win the event, but pulled off a decent result.
Despite not getting off to a good start, Killishin Lady, displayed very good speed and stamina towards the end of the race and finished second. The bettors will be confident that she will be able to bring up a victory today.
Today’s favourite runner is the daughter of Hondo Black out of Paradise Alanna and was born in April 2010.
The second favourite hound for today’s race is Scala Ranger, trained by A. Jenkins. He will find things easy in this class, but will have to be at his extremely best to match Killishin Lady.
Scala Ranger also does not have any problems running at Hall Green and the punters will be interested in investing some money on his victory. He is the son of Killahan Phanter out of Scala Judy and was born in January 2010.
Ask Flash, trained by J. Meek, has not been in good form over the past few months, but has the ability to turn things around. She still has some confidence of the bookmakers, which is a good sign.
The white and black b***h is the daughter of Daves Mentor out of Timmies Stapler and was born in October 2008.
Crokers Beer, Greycott Gwen and Avonside Knight do not seem to have any chances of winning today, but anything can happen in racing. However, considering the dominant form of Killishin Lady, any other hound seems unlikely to win at Hall Green.
