Kilmalady Biffo determined to win Golden Crest (Heat 3)
Kilmalady Biffo is fully determined to claim the title of the Dave Lawrance Golden Crest – Heat 3 that is going to be held at Poole racecourse tonight, June 26. The Open Race will commence at 21:22 (GMT).
The winner, who covers the distance of 450 metres first, will take home the prize money of £150. The K. Hutton trained dog is expected to deliver an outstanding performance, because recently he has been notching brilliant victories.
Since the very first day of the calendar year, the four-year-old veteran dog has been at the top of his game. First, he accomplished a tremendous hat-trick in the month of April, and then moved on to bag a couple of consecutive triumphs in May.
The maverick hound marvellously finished first in his second last outing on June 7. He gained 4th spot in the subsequent start on June 14.
As a whole, the talented son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Kincraig Brindle, poses to be a strong and consistent runner, who has been doing extremely well on various tracks so far.
If, Kilmalady Biffo, runs to his best, he will surely have more than 90 percent chances to finish first in the Golden Crest.
However, he will have to face severe resistance from, Raithby Lee. The J. Heath trained black dog bagged a couple of consecutive conquests late in April, 2012.
He went on to finish as a runner-up that followed up with a victory in the month of May.
The son of Unlikely Mate, out of Unlikely Hotshow, finished third in his last venture on June 15. Thus, he seems to be in the position to fight well for first position in the upcoming 450 metre race.
Barnish Booth is also a strong contender for the Heat. The K. Hutton trained white and fawn dog marvellously turned in a hat-trick during the first half of June, 2012.
It means that the novice runner can upset both Raithby Lee and Kilmalady Biffo. It is all shaping up to be a rip-roaring clash at Poole, and the event will contain some startling twists and turns.
