Kilmalady Biffo set to strike hat-trick in Stadium Bookmakers Standard at Oxford
Kilmalady Biffo’s opponents will try their best to stop him from completing his hat-trick, but it looks an extremely difficult task for them.
The dark brindle dog is in great form these days and thus, the bookies expects him to fire in the Stadium Bookmakers Standard, taking place at Oxford on April 19th.
Six quality runners competing for a purse of £150 are: Kilmalady Biffo, Scolari Queen, Loaded Dice, All Wonders, Rockview Venture and West Bolt.
Kilmalady Biffo regained his momentum after a couple of embarrassing performances last month. At the start of April, he stunned his rivals with a comprehensive victory in a 450 metres heat. The maverick hound secured the top
spot by eight and a quarter lengths.
He went on to seal another convincing triumph last week. His opponents had no answer to his quality running, as he seized the first place by seven and a quarter lengths.
With two big wins under his belt, the K. Hutton-trained is full of confidence. Thus, his rivals would find it difficult to do anything special against him.
Wearing red jacket, Scolari Queen is also in good rhythm these days. However, her inconsistency seems to be an issue for the punters.
After grabbing two back to back wins last month, the black b***h lost her direction and finished fourth in her penultimate trip. R. Baker’s trainee quickly brought things back to normal and registered a classy victory last time
around.
On April 12, the audience at Oxford saw her topping the chart by four lengths. The b***h has potential to pocket the winning prize, but she needs to be consistent in order to enjoy the glory.
West Bolt needs to run in the final gear to outsmart the aforementioned duo. Loaded Dice might not be able to trouble the judge. Similarly, Rockview Venture and All Wonders need a lot of luck to do anything special against this
line-up.
Kilmalady Biffo is a hard nut to crack, but Scolari Queen has the hammer in her hands. Let’s see how she utilises her skills to beat the favourite hound.
