Kilmarnock - veggie food?

Question

I've been invited to a family party at the Howard Park Hotel in Kilmarnock. Anyone been there for a 'do'? What's the food like? Am I likely to get a reasonable veggie meal there? If not, what are my options elsewhere in Kilmarnock?

I didn't see too many vegetarian restaurants in Scotland when I traveled there last summer. But these people are family.

The Hotel food got 3 1/2 stars. Maybe it will be OK.
