Kim Her briefed that Khim Wah-V Shem will participate in Bath training camp as well to provide Kien Keat-Boon Heong some gruelling sessions.
He said, “The back-up shuttlers are providing good quality sparring for them. Khim Wah-V Shem will accompany them for the centralised training in Bath when the Olympic squad leave on July 12.”
Apart from Kien Keat-Boon Heong, the other Olympic bound Malaysian shuttlers are Lee Chong Wei and Mixed Doubles pair Goh Liu Ying-Chan Peng Soon.
Moreover, badminton guru also unveiled that he is keeping an eye on young Men’s Doubles experts Mohd Lutfi Zaim Abdul Khalid and Vountus Indra Mawan to evaluate their chances at the international level.
Kim Her stated that Vountus-Lutfi will represent Malaysia in Indonesia International Challenge, starting from July 2-7.
He added that this tournament will be their test and if they manage to register their mark then their future is secure in the national squad.
