Kimbo won fairly. He litteraly exploded the other guys ear. The other guy at the end of the match took a swing at the ref. That proves he didn't know where he was. Thier for the clear winner was Kimbo.

ok, im not a kimbo basher, and im not a kimbo lover either, i think he hits hard, i dont want him to hit me...but someone just said that they dont think that any one can stand toe to toe and hit kimbo...there is a youtube video of kimbos only loss to a cop, that was a toe to toe beating....two people that didnt have stamina to go 5 minutes....no imagine a guy like lidell or griffin that can throw some punches and has the stamina to go 3 whole rounds....

Kimbo would have his butt handed to him in the UFC or against any real contender.  Not to take away from his ability, but anyone with a good ground game would work him over.

seriously, it was like watching amateur night... even the title fight between those two guys that i couldnt name at this point.  two stopped fights, lame action at best.  

Its like watching triple A baseball when you could be watching the big leagues

idiots like "jack from myspace" are the only ones who ever thought kimbo had a chance in mma and last night just proves they were wrong. and JACKS idiotic comments of "say he is bs to his face lol" are just a shining example of his ignorance. no one is saying he cant beat up people off the streets jack *** what people are saying is that he doesnt belong in an mma ring and that is the truth.

I watched his fight last night and thought there were numerous chances for James Thompson to beat him.  And I definetly think the ref was quick to call the end to that fight too.  But, Kimbo will get wrecked and is BS.

I don't really watch MMA at all, and I basically tuned in just to see Kimbo fight. During the second round when he was getting elbowed on the ground, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't this be an appropriate time to call the fight?" Then the third round came and the other guy got his ear popped. It looked almost set up. The ref called the fight and I thought to myself, "They stopped it for THAT!?"

Anyways, I don't know whether it was fixed or not. IMO it does seem to be a possibility. After all is said and one, to a casual fan like me, this fight was pretty underwhelming and hasn't really perked my interest in the sport.

Elite XC is the biggest disgrace to mma i've ever seen.  Kimbo is a joke.  Thompson is and always was nothing special but he sure as h**l was better than kimbo.  Kimbo had his head elbowed against the cage for over a minute unanswered.  Yet they called the fight when Thompson was standing up with hands up and everything doing what he had been the entire fight: eating kimbos punches.  The referee definitely bailed kimbo out of that fight.  All true mma fans should boycott elite xc.

its kinda was bs..i excepted more from kimbo..he did okay..his ground game wasn't on point he took alot hits in the 2nd..but hey its free and this the first time i see mma so i liked the action tonite..it was tite.atleast for me cuz im new to mma.

to me there were good fights tonite but sum were stopped WAY to early..

kimbo kinda got a break..but then he didn't u see the other guys ear..?..slice rocked him pretty dam good..the reason they stopped it was becuz the thompson was in big trouble imagine if kimbo connects another hit to the ear it probably could have fallen off...lol..

Ya know, Kimbo may not be a great wrestler, but let me tell you...if you were standing toe to toe with him on the street, you wouldn't be calling him a bunch of BS!

I love all you guys who say 'you wouldn't say that to Kimbo's face', blah blah blah. It isn't about the average shmoe fighting Kimbo Slice, it's about Kimbo Slice fighting fellow MMA fighters you dopes. And he looked pretty darn beatable tonight. Not by me, of course, but by most decent MMA heavyweights. Sure, he was great at beating up tomato cans in back yards, but he has a long way to go (if he ever gets there) in MMA. He was absolutely gassed after 2 rounds against a journeyman who looked like his brain wires were crossed every time he got hit, yet Thompson kept coming back for more. My teenage sons had been talking about 'Kimbo this, and Kimbo that' all week, but I wasn't impressed at all. Yes, Kimbo could beat me up. So what? Does that make him a great MMA fighter? Get real you guys.

the fight shouldn't have been stopped, although thompson's ear was nasty!  kimbo was gonna win though, thompson was so out of it he swung at the ref, he was gonna get hurt.  but kimbo has a lot of serious work to do before he can be called one of the best, his ground game is getting better but needs work, he's still a brawler, although now a more polished brawler

BS, he struggled to beat a middle of the road fighter.  He is hype and nothing more.  Suppose that beats being homeless in Florida fighting in backyards.  He makes an interesting story, but is too old and lacks skill and cardio.  Kimbo is like a younger Tank Abbott.  He won the fight and it was a good stoppage.

Honestly i dont think anybody could stand toe to toe with him and just have a standup fight even in the Ufc. Hes beatable if you take him down ground and pound ect he really needs to work on his ground game and conditioning.
