  1. whats the link?

  2. ken and frank shamrock both have the same problem.

i think if frank woul've taken cung le down, he wouldn've easily won that fight.

its the same thing with ken shamrock, if he wouldn't have tried to beat gracie on the ground he would've easily won.

they always try to beat someone at their own game.

if ken fights smart, he can win. if not...KO

  3. yeah, i think it is going to happen, just read it on a blog in the mma section on yahoo sports.  I had heard kimbo may be fighting sean gannon, the cop that beat him in the street fight on youtube. but it looks like it will be shamrock and slice on oct. 4th.

I know shamrock is a legend in the sport but the sport has most definetly passed him by, but the question I have is if kimbo's even gotten in the race to get passed? I think kimbo should win if this fight stays on the feet cause tito who is not known for his stand-up beat the eyes out of ken a couple times. ken is a vet and should know some of the tricks by now but my question is can he get kimbo down due to their size differnce and if this makes it to the 3rd round it should be the most boring fight ever seeing that neither guy is know for cardio.

I guess I pick kimbo, but I'm not sure, h**l I'm not sure that I even care.

  4. Man I was about to go off on you but it is true.Heres the link.

  5. for the sake of mankind i hope not

  6. Ken Shamrock has won 1 fight in the last decade, and his last 2 fights have been works (he took a dive)  So don't bet on him making it out of the 1st round.

  7. that's what i read as well. ken shamrock was never that good and kimbo hasn't become a high caliber fighter as of yet so i think it's a perfectly reasonable matchup

  8. If Ken gets Kimbo on the ground its over. Kimbo has no ground game, and Ken is a master on the ground. Still, Ken has had so many injuries in his career, hes just not the same as he was in Pancrase.

Interesting trivia: Ken beat Bas Rutten (Kimbo's trainer) twice in Pancrase.

  9. i heard the same thing... i think if this fight happens kimbo might have some problems on his hands, if kimbo gets taken down kimbo will be tapping in the first 30 sec dont forget kens hands arent to bad either

  10. If this happens, Kimbo and Elite XC are in trouble.

"the organization seems intent on finding someone a little more -- to put this kindly -- beatable.

How else can you justify trying to sign an aging fighter on a long losing streak like Ken Shamrock (or a non-fighter, like Sean Gannon) as an opponent? Gannon is said to have since been ruled out -"

  11. Ken Shamrock is retired.

  12. where did you hear that?

even though ken shamrock has retired he would still **** kimbo up.

  13. It's true. I read about it on bloodyelbow.com and sherdog.com...Bas better teach Kimbo how to defend against heel-hooks right now. If Shamrock beats Kimbo, his career in the U.S. is DONE. And despite a lot of people thinking this fight is another gimme for Kimbo against a washed-up old man i.e. Mercer or Tank, I think Shamrock could win this. If he does, not only is Kimbo finished, but EliteXC could be on the road to ruin. This fight is a bad idea.

  14. I have to agree with the way you ended your question....!...?

this fight makes no sense. to be honest i actually find myself afraid for Kens safety. he is to old. can he pull of the win, yes. If he does not he will get hurt and maybe permanently. he is to old

  15. Ken Shamrock is retired. It wont be happening.
