Kimbo Slice.......?

Question

Who caught Saturday Night fight?... And what did ya think about Kimbo and James Fight?

It's the 1st time I have seen him fight other than on youtube and I thought he handled himself pretty d**n good!

The neck crank he used on him that one time looked badass!!

I loved how he managed to reverse just about every move his opponent used.

Like he said tho.. he's got a long way to go but I think he can become a very strong & skilled fighter but thats just my opinion.

Now let me hear yours.......

Oh and I'd love to go a round with Gina Carano :)

I feel embarassed for CBS for putting on this entire fight card. What a pure letdown in every way.

Kimbo beat a second rate fighter due to an early referee stoppage. There is nothing bad *** about Kimbo, unless he is fighting some other Joe Schmo in an illegal street fight.

All I have to say is that CBS wasted a ton of money promoting an average fighter that would get destroyed against the likes of a real fighter in the UFC. Although he did land some good punches and he had a couple of good ground moves,but nothing to great. Kimbo really needs to do some road work and get his cardio up to par,he was gassed midway into the second round. Elite XC will be a flash in the pan and so will Kimbo,sorry Kimbo fans but sometimes to the truth hurts,I could also be wrong. I totally agree,I would let Gina kick my *** anytime,she would probably kick my *** even if I tried!lol

Kimbo's strength is brawling. He's powerful and good and getting in close and swinging fists hard and taking whatever punches he might get. But thats all his game is. He proved tonight that he sucks on the ground. In the second round he was done.  It was obvious they wanted Kimbo to win but frankly I think Kimbo is a fraud.  It's easy to avoid his telegraphed punches. All someone has to do is keep their distance, dip down and go for his legs. He's also not good cardiovascularly.

This fight was fixed!  I am a Kimbo fan, but Thompson is a real MMA fighter and he completely dominated Slice on the ground.  At one point Thompson had Slice pinned against the fence for two minutes and he could have rained vicious elbows, but James just threw some light love taps.  Even then Kimbo was so winded and disoriented he almost couldn't get up after the bell.  Also, the huge blood blister on James Thompson's ear was total theater.  In a real MMA match the officials wouldn't let him walk in the cage with that thing...they would have drained it quickly and easily before the start of the match.  Don't get me wrong, I love watching Kimbo do the bare knuckle back yard thing, but he isn't a mixed martial artist just yet.

It was entertaining, but he would get smoked in the UFC.  Also too bad the ref stopped that and every other fight tonight too early

Kimbo has some punching skills. He is being thrown into the headliner spot way too soon. They won't be able to feed him creampuffs much longer. As soon as he is destroyed by a decent MMA fighter I think it is all over.

I am a big boy but Gina would kick my a@#.
