Opinions on wishful fight? Opinions on Kimbo fighting ANY REAL fighter in their prime. I think Butterbean would be a better opponent then anyone Kimbo has fought.

The Snowman is too good on the ground and is big to wrap your arms around to stop the takedown.

Kimbo is fighting Brett Rodgers in October , Brett is 7-0 undefeated, 6 knockouts 1 submission(strikes).He is 6 foot 5 and 265 pounds he is 27 years old, I would say he is in his prime.It will be the first test for kimbo.

Monson is one of the world's best grapplers, so good the Brazilians gave him a nickname. And even though it's not his forte, he is a much better striker than Kimbo. It wouldn't be a close fight at all.

How about getting your face kicked in by a jiu-jitsu practitioner? Your 9th dan means jack once you are in the clinch and taken to the ground. TKD is useless in a real fight unless the guy stands there waiting to get kicked.

kimbo is still not at that level yet. like most celeb crossovers so to speak their manager will play as much publicity and low level comps as possible before they get exposed.

kimbo does have to his advantage a lot of good natural genetics. he might have been world class if he had not wasted so many years bumming around the streets.

and its possible he still might learn enough to surprise a top level guy the first time he has to fight them.. if he has time to learn.

because the clock is ticking as to how long they can avoid putting him in with a real quality opponent before the public gets impatient.

for the record this next guy is not a 'real quality opponent'..

monson for sure, he would put a clinin on kimbo...kimbo has an advantage in the standup game, but monson is such an accomplished wrestler and bjj guy that hed take kimbo down and ill say most likely choke him out.
