If MMA, Kimbo might win (unless de la Hoya has had some MMA training as well). In boxing, de la Hoya might win with his speed.

i dont think it matters if de la hoya has any mma training or not, because if you really think about it neither does kimbo slice. He is how charles bennet is and how tank abbot was back in the day, he does a ton of strength and minimal endurance training and just shows up to fight. Ive heard that kimbo is hooking up with bas rutten so he is transitioning into the mma game but as of right now i think de la hoya would have him because he can hit and move much faster than kimbo.

They're in different sports and different weight classes.  In an outright street fight if they were both required to run a half marathon in less than 2 hours first, I suppose it would be a fair fight.
