How would it go down? It seems to me that Kimbo Slice is over-hyped by CBS and Ortiz would make short work of him.

  1. Well everyone seems to think that Kimbo should be winning all his matches for the amount of hype that he has which he is , but what people have to remember is that he is still a rookie in this sport not some seasoned veteran . I watched Kimbo from his first street fight,I'm a fan you could say.In all his mma matches never once has he talked smack about any of his opponents or underestimated his opponents, all he does is go out and fight to the best of his abilities. I mean hes 34 years old and has 3 pro fights under his belt.People are expecting him to be something like that of a young world champion in his prime.Look at him for what he is a man providing for his family the only way he knows how. Look at his improvements he went from a 280 pound street fighter to a 230 something pound mma fighter and despite the critical reception all his opponents got two of them were veterans to the sport, one still in his 20's.Kimbo doesn't make his matches or do his promotions Elitexc does , and yet people continue to insult him.He is a god guy who just goes to work everyday like everyone else. Sure he is overly promoted but as far as thats concerned which company wouldn't have done that , all the fans like him because they think he looks cool and represents toughness worldwide I see preppy white kids talk abut him when they know nothing. And now that he fought on CBS everyone is saying"Hey did you know Kimbo Slice is an mma fighter now" leaving his true fans to get angry. Also look at the ufc and Brock Lesnar he has less experience than Kimbo does and he got a main event so as far as I am concerned It's being done else were as well. Thats my two cents worth on that , now as for the Tito Ortiz-kimbo slice match up.First of all Tito Ortiz would have to move up to heavyweight because Kimbo could not go down to Light theavy weight, then they are the same height so Kimbo's punches would have their full power were as when he was fighting Thompson he had to punch up thus taking away some of his power.Tito would not be able to knock him out due to Kimbo's chin and Tito not having  possession of Knockout power seeing as how he has only ever knocked some one out by slam which we all know he would not be able to do on slice.Leaving his only chance to take it to the ground to try and submit him , but if you look Tito has only ever submitted people smaller than him which leads me to think he would not be able to do it.Also he gets cocky and feels like has something to prove so he might try and stay  and throw with Kimbo like he did with Chuck. So my synopsis, Kimbo would most likely knockout or get the TKO on Tito Ortiz due to Ortiz having to make the jump to heavyweight and no knockout  power. However if Tito were to stay away and gas Kimbo and then in the 3rd round pick him off there would be a slight chance of him getting a TKO victory. But overall I think Tito's boldness would get him caught with a big hit that would get him knocked out.

  2. Tito if they were both at 205.  Kimbo is a bit bigger, but even then Tito could probably still take him.

  3. Definetely Tito

  4. Tito Ortiz, hands down.

  5. Ehh... I am far from being anything close to a Tito fan, BUT-

Slice would have bad day considering Tito's core strength experience and is elite as a 205 wrestling takedownist. we all know kimbo's got no grapple, but I don't see why everyone says he even has striking. He is sloppy and reckless and gasses out from throwing his telegraphed no form punches.

Kimbo couldn't beat Tito in a boxing match.

  6. Im pretty sure most if not all UFC fighters in Kimbo's weight class could beat him in a fight. Just EliteXC overhypes Kimbo and swing fights in his favor.  Kimbo is big but he lacks technique.

I remember his last fight when he had no idea how to get off the ground, he tried to bench press the guy off of him.

  7. tito would cave kimbo's face in and I would love to see it.

  8. As much as i hate Tito,

    Tito would own kimbo,

    kimbo is a unexperienced fighter

  9. tito ortiz

  10. It would go down just as you explained it.  It would be very likely that Kimbo would be caught in a double leg and slammed unconscious against the back of his head at the onset of the fight.

  11. Well, Kimbo couldn't stop a takedown attempt by a man who has never been known for his wrestling, and Tito is a high level wrestler and is reportedly one of the strongest 205ers around.  Kimbo has no ground defense, while Tito's ground-and-pound let to him having the most successful defenses of any Light Heavyweight champion in UFC history.  Kimbo has heavy hands, but Tito has only ever been stopped by strikes twice...by Chuck Liddell.

You can never ignore a puncher's chance, but that's pretty much all Kimbo has against Tito. And maybe like 15-20 pounds, which honestly doesn't mean as much when you're lying flat on your back.

  12. tito ortiz. kimbo slice is big and a great striker however tito has a great ground game and will be able to submit kimbo quick. kimbo is overrated cuz hes a street fighter. i think royce gracie can even rape him
