Kimbo is getting a lot of hate because the mma people say he is not deserving of all the attention and money he is getting and a prime thime fight they say he has not fought anyone. Well the way I see it no one in mma is deserving of anything who have they beat are any of the national champions or Olympic champions no they are all just a bunch of white guys with short shorts on rolling around on the canvas. When mma has training and national championships then I will watch it. Who wants to see a guy fall down as soon as a punch gets close to him I have seen tomany mma matches and they all suck none of the fighters have any heart and when are they going let the real fighters fight meaning the black fighters and I am not talking about the black guys who can,t fight to make the white guys look good I,m talking about the real brothers

  1. okay you go down to your local jits gym or wrestling club and say that youll get killed

  2. clearly your opinion is very uneducated.

UFC LHW Champion: Quentin Jackson (Black)

UFC MW Champion: Anderson Silva (Black/Brazilian)

UFC HW Champion: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (Native Brazilian)

UFC LW Champion: BJ Penn (Pacific Islander)

so for you to claim that MMA is a sport designed to make white people look good is way off base.  I'm not even sure what the h**l race has to do with anything anyways.

Second, to claim MMA fighters have no heart! WOW! as far as i'm concerned you're just trying to be a prick and p**s people off with that comment.

Also, many MMA fighters are former world champions or NCAA Champions in their original field of martial arts, and then make the move to MMA.

As far as Kimbo goes, maybe he doesn't deserve the spotlight, but if it were any of us, i don't think we would turn it down, so all the more power to him.

"When mma has training and national championships then I will watch it"

So basically sum up what you are saying there, is that once MMA is popular in the mainstream, thats when you'll jump on the bandwagon.  Well at least you're willing to admit it i guess, as lame as that is.

And one more thing, just out of curiosity.  Who are these "real brothers" that you speak of?  because if you know some fighters we should be keeping an eye out for in the future, i would love to hear about them.

  3. wel there have been nationla wrestlign champion sbrock lesner NCAA champion and plus japan has several judo gold medal winner fighting mma and also UFC light weight champion is black look quinton "rampage" jackson also look for houston alexander shonie carter tehre are black guys fightiung what your problem

  4. I'm sorry you feel this way, but that is a fairly uneducated opinion on the MMA game.  None of the fighters have any heart, how can you say that??!!!  Randy Couture won his last fight while fighting with a broken arm!  Have you ever watched a Forrest Griffin fight?

MMA is also one of the most training intensive sports today.  Every successful fighter trains not only on his own, but with an entire camp of fighters who are dedicated to the game (Pat Militich has an awesome camp, Tito's Team Punishment has a great team, Matt and Nick Serra run an amazing camp in NY, among many many others.

It is wrong to say that Kimbo is not dedicated to fighting.  He is now training with Bas Rutten, a Pancrease legend and force in the early UFC.  But he has not yet developed himself into a well rounded fighter, and has never faced an opponent with enough skills to truly judge his potential as a fighter.  Sure he has heavy hands, but his wrestling and jiu-jitsu are untested.  Other fighters, like Liddel, Rampage Jackson, and Couture, have equally devastating knockout power, but can combine that with the ability to fight on the mat.

There are not national championships, especially from an NCAA perspective, because it would be completely inappropriate for collegiate fighters to go through that punishment while trying to be a college student.  That combination is an impossibility.

There is not the need for a national championship.  The UFC is the most prestigous company for lightweight-heavyweight, and their sister company the WEC is the powerhouse for the lower weight classes.  A national championship would mean less than carrying one of those belts, and would be an impossibility to arrange due to the fighters' existing contracts.

If you want to watch a brawl, instigate a bar fight.  If you want to watch MMA, tune in to the UFC.
