Kimchee: has anyone ever made it? is it much trouble?

I'll look up a recipe, but please list the ingredients, I know cabbage garlic and pepper flakes (is the pepper flakes just the regular kind)

  1. Check my note, and as for fish sauce it is optional, but a bit of worchester sauce is fine to, I buy a korean chili paste here in Canada, but can give you a recipe for it if you want.


  2. foodnetwork.com has a recipe for kimchee.

    it takes a LONG time to make but isn't it oh so good?!

  3. It is not hard, but takes time to ferment.  If you are going to look up the recipe, I am sure you will get a list of ingredients. If you want a really really easy way, look for NOH seasoning products, which has a Kimchee seasoning packet. Just follow the recipe.  It is quite good.
