Kimono inspired wedding gown?

Question

I'm having an 'Autumn Asia' wedding, therefore I am looking for a kimono-esq wedding dress, NOT an actual kimono, something a-line with perhaps the kimono-like sleeves? I would love an obi that goes out with a full train.

Anyone have any suggestions? I want to exhaust all my options before seeing a custom seamstress.

I'm going to bet you're going to have to go with a seamstress for this.  (Which I happen to be!)  Depending on your location, I may be able to help you come up with something, and if you're to far away, I can at least help you find the right pattern.  (Sounds like you might need more than one pattern to achieve the effect!)

the first link has a colored obi that goes with the train, but it doesn't have the kimono sleeves. and the second link has a more kimono style to the sleeves.
