There isn't any point of saving the admission pins that the met gives you after you've given a donation b/c they periodically/constantly change the color of the pins to make sure people don't try to get away with not paying some kind of donation the next time they decide to come to the museum (like you can't save the pin you had last time and bring it with you the next time especially if you're going after a few months b/c most probably the color or style of the pins has changed) there's no way of getting a free ride there lol ---- am i right?

  1. I just give them back, on the way out.. for the ecological apsect of not wasting it/throwing it away.

(The admission is a suggested donation, anyway.) If you wanted/needed a Free Ride.. all you have to do, when you get to the desk is tell them that you have no money, but would like to enter etc. -- and you're in.

  2. Don't bother...just pay. It's worth it!

  3. the Metropolitan Museum of art is completely free to the public -

the "prices" are just "suggested donations" so if you honestly don't feel like paying all you have to do is go up and get a pin, or just pay like a dollar or something, its always nice to support the art :)
