Kind of a dumb question... vests?

Question

i reallyy want to buy a vest.

im fourteen & going to HS on monday.

i'd wear it with a tank top or a t-shirt.

but my mom wont let me buy them because she claims "theyre for grown ups"

hahah i dont get it. any way i can try to convince her to let me buy and wear one?

i would show her all the girls yuur age wearing them.

then go to the mall and show her all the stores that

you shop at and how the majority to all of them sell

them so obviously they can be wore by teenagers[:

hey im the same age and starting hs on monday 2. what i would recomend is saying that sense now your going into highscool you are growing up and wearing a vest doesnt make you more adult just more together which isnt a bad thing. plus say that wearing something nice like a vest is better than like something S****y or trashy.

REALLY wow um show her A LOT of photos of girl wearing them and make sure they look super girly so she won't use the excuse that they're for men

vests are a comfortable accessory to any ensemble and adds charm to ones look. also it is extra cover for the chest area. so mom, let the girl dress in her own style.

Tell her that your torso is really cold while your arms are hot, so it would be an extremely practical item of clothing for you.

tell her they are not because its not revealing or anything and also its not for just older grown ups.

maybe find a store for "teens" :]  that have vests and tell her that its in style and that lots of stores are selling them these dayss
