DRAGON AND SWORD
She stood like a golden flower,
swaying in the smoky wind after the battles raging fight died away,
the flags flutter in the toxic air making
demon like shadows dance everywhere.
The dragon flies over head, burning knights that are not dead,
But she with the sword of pure light stands like a pillar of virtue and truth.
She stands in a white flowing dress and her dark hair is swept about in the wild wind,
her piercing eyes watch the skies waiting for the dragon to descend on her from the smoky clouds on high.
Flames of blue fire break the silence of the battle field as she shields her face from the heat.
A dragon mighty and red drops from the sky in a mad rush to kill its last standing pray.
Her face scared and dirty turns back to the winged enemy,
her eyes bright and dangerous watch with growing anticipation.
Bodies of fallen friends and brothers in arms lay at her feet and there blood socks the dark ground.
A hazy darkness lingers in the air as the dragon lands heavily on the scared earth.
His massive body taking up the field and the smell of death radiates from his bright red scales.
She but a small mouse to him stands with her sword at her side,
she brings it to her face and looks over the bloody blade at him.
He looks at her with the eyes of an enemy,
the eyes of a dragon to the next kill.
He breaths a line of fire at her to cook her on the spot but it bends around her with out touching her skin.
With the grace of an angel and the speed of a creature unreal she rushes forward and strikes the beast with the blood red blade.
The dragon moves but does not miss a deep gouge in his massive leg,
the pain from the strangers sword is unlike any he has ever felt,
so much pain from such a little thing only one thing left. Rage!
With his head he swings at her catching her in his teeth, closing his mouth over his pray.
She with out fear shoves her sword up and the dragon is blinded by the pain from the dagger of hers.
Again to him she, but a mouse and her sword a little toy leaves so much pain but
then so much rage!
He spits and she is thrown to the slippery ground,
she lingers not there but regained her feet and strikes again as the dragon rears back to shower her with fire.
Her sword she throws from her hand and it sails through the air with deadly speed.
It hits with a powerful blow and sinks in to the dragons chest leaving him there to bleed.
In his torment of pain he falls and she is crushed under his massive claw.
As she lays taking her last breathe,
bleeding to death she remembers that she knew that this would come.
She knew that her death would be by his hand,
she knew that his death would be by hers.
yeah I know its long, but what do you think?
Dont be to harsh on me=)
