  1. I  did just like you...puked about an hour before and pooped during..Not uncommon....believe me..the Doc expects it....

After all..you are grunting withaLL YOUR MIGHT...EVERYTHING IS GONNA COME OUT..either hole!!!

I was in too much pain to care...or be embarassed...."Get it out"!! HUGS!!

  2. I don't think I pooped on the table, they gave me an e***a earlier in my labor to try to help labor go faster. You could always ask and see if they would give you an e***a. I did however have so much pressure in my pelvis, when my dr checked me to see if I was dilated, I peed on her. I was embarassed about it for like 30 seconds before I forgot all about it.

  3. i pooped! i was a bit embarrassed, but not really. it's actually very common.

  4. i threw up alot before they gave me my meds(thank every ones god) i am not good with pain also i really do not know if i pooped nobody said ugh or anything so hopefully i did not by the way i moved my bowels before i went in tried not to because i did not want to have the baby in the toilet but the urge is so strong could not be helped

  5. I hear most do, but I've also heard if you only eat applesauce and jello the day before you go in, you won't.  Worth a try, right?

  6. I read that 90% of women that give birth vaginally..p**p during delivering. The Dr's  don't mention it bc they see it all the time, so most women don't even know they did.  I have irritable bowel syndrome and had diarrhea my entire pregnancy (how is that for TMI..lol) so you can imagine what I went through during delivery. I had originally asked for an e***a b4 hand bc I knew it what was going to happen when I started pushing but it went so fast that I didn't have time.. But I know I did bc I could I feel it but I didn't care.  It was the last thing from my mind while having a natural child birth..lol! Don't be embarrassed, it happens all the time. It is just part of it :)

  7. Nothing new under the sun...I'm sure doctors and nurses have seen this happen much more often than you think. I felt the urge to and thought for sure I would, but hadn't eaten for a day due to such a long labor that there was nothing to p**p out, lol.

I did throw up, water, a lot because the epidural made me sooo sick and queasy.

I'm sure lots of women have stories to tell.

Ooohhh, the LABOR OF LOVE !!!

  8. Well I have been through labor yet, but I have been told by everyone with kids that had them natural, that they pooped.  And some even puked.   So I've been warned about the pooping, so your not the only one, it just happens.

  9. Yes, I would say a majority of women do p**p while they are in labor because it's hard to know which muscles you are pushing/contracting, especially if you are using anesthetics which numbs the body below the chest.  I had used anesthetic because I didn't want to feel pain and when the doctor told me to push...I just couldn't feel my muscles pushing...so i pushed whatever it was out....including p**p.  It's natural.   DON'T BE EMBARRASSED....Who would you be embarrassed in front of??? The doctor? The nurses?  These people get paid over $70,000 and they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't enjoy this or get paid enough.

Please, don't beat yourself up over this.  It's a natural reaction.

  10. When I was in nursing school I watch 6 births and 4 of the 6 pooped.  It's a common thing when you think of how much you are pushing down there it's bound to happen.  I have a 4 year and had a c-section so I didn't have the issue of pushing. :)

  11. They told me not to eat for 24 hours so i was saved.

  12. I did and i laughed when the nurse told me i thought it was funny ill prob, do it again when i go into labor with this little one, its normal dont worry about it

  13. i did and puked at the same time, my husband says it wasnt the greatest thing to watch but we were happy with the outcome! lol
