Worst: Rock and Hip hop

In comparison to the late 80s and 90s, but it still hasn't fully recovered to where it was before the smooth jazz plague.

Worse: Rock

If I can find five rock albums that I can tolerate from any given year over the past 20 years, I consider it a good year for rock. There's probably not one year from the 60s and 70s that has less than 15 rock albums that I like.

Better- Pop, Pop is the most popular genre right now.

Worse- Hip Hop, genre with the most one hit wonders, and people download instead of buying albums.( I buy albums)

I think all genres are getting worse and they will continue to get worse.
