Kinda a little mess here, help!?

I liked this guy since last year, and this new guy came to my school. I found out the new guy likes me, and after school he asked me for my number. I was kinda hesitant but i saw the guy i like sitting on the stairs and I wanted to make him jealous so i wrote down my number on a piece of paper and gave it to the guy who i dont like. now i totally lead him on but how do i stop before its too late? also, the guy i like is in the same "clique" i guess, as the guy i gave my number to so they probably know each other. help!!!

First of all tell the other guy that you don't like him in that way. You don't have to tell him that you were using him to make the first guy jealous (because it might make him angry or upset) but just tell him that you'd rather be friends or something like that. Next make your move on the guy you like! you've liked him since last year now so do something about it! If you wait you might miss your chance and even if it doesn't work or he says no, then at least you tried!

Also, let the first guy down gently! If he is friends with the guy you like then he could talk about you to him so he could say how nice you were about it and things like that!

If I were you, I'd talk to the new guy and tell him that you don't like him. This is so much safer than leading him on just to get the other guy jealous. (Trust me, I talk from experience lol)

Tell him that you'd really love to be friends but you just don't like him in that way.

Then, perhaps, you guys can become friends and then you could tell him that you like the other guy, and then he could tell him for you and try to get you guys together? I guess that's only possible if the new guy is willing to be friends with you. But it's just a suggestion =]
