Kinda got a PS3 problem/fault?

well i had this sound coming from the ps3 (sounded like the fan was broke) but the next day it stopped. So i contacted sony by email and i told them the situation i was in and they said just contact then by phone but if theres nothing to say because the sounds stopped now. What shall i do? What shall i say on the phone? Is the PS3 okay but if the sound comes back ring up immediately? Im still under warranty but this is my replacement i got only a week ago and i've only used it for about 3 hours max!

  1. i would call them and tell them what happened they probably know exactly what is happening and plus playstattion customer support is very good


  2. UK? Did you buy it in a high street store? If so, your contract is with the retailer and not the manufacturer. Take it back to the store you bought if from and tell them it's faulty and that you would like a refund or replacement. You have statutory rights and protection under the sale of goods act 1979. Have a look at the public citizens advice bureau site below, for more about your rights as a consumer.
