We opened up a savings account when our 5yr old graduated. We'll add through the years and give it to her when she graduates college or gets married...

When my nephews graduated from Kindergarten I gave him a gift card to McDonalds and he got to use it when him and his mom went.  He loved thinking he was buying his own stuff and kept getting more milk.  He thought he was so grown up!

My mom got him just a bucket of summer type toys and he enjoyed that too.

Gift? I wish I got a gift... LOL anyway. Take him to a toy store and let him pick out one toy. That way he's more personal because you both time together, and get exactly what he wanted.

They are stuffed animals but have codes that can be used for the internet.  They are very fun and educational.  You can just bout one for under $15 or you can get clothes, mousepads etc if you want to spend more, but he will need one animal to start his online account.  My son loves them.

Personally, I don't thing kids graduate from kindergarten.  And to get a gift for it, is a waste of money.  Wait until he actually accomplishes something and graduates from High school and college.
