what is an interveiw no no,for someone who has an appointment in an embassy for a visa.

Generally to make sure you are who you say you are (eg, make sure of your personal details like name, address, if you have enough funds to finance your stay there). That you will abide by the rules as per your visa.

Things you shouldn't say are:

what kind of benefits can I get once I get there? (eg free housing, health care etc)

How do you deal with illegal immigrants or overstayers (not funny under any circumstances)?

Do the documents have to be real? Can't I just give photocopies? Do you check the validity of my documents?

Be honest in your replies and make sure you can back up most of what you say with the relevant paperwork.
