  1. KE = ½mV²

    I assume KM is km. Case is important!

    72 km/hr x 1000m/1km x 1hr/3600sec = 20 m/s

    KE = ½(2000)(20)² = 400000 J


  2. Kinetic energy=1/2*mass*velocity

    =2000*72

    =148000joules
