Kinetic theory?? definition help plz?

plz mein someone help me with the kinetic theory and kinetic energy cuz im sooo confuse about it. if there was a question in a test to ask u to define wats kinetic theory and give an example wat will u write?

Kinetic theory- the pressure of a liquid or gas is due to the collisions between its molecules moving at different velocities.

Example- molecules of carbon dioxide in a sealed test tube.

Kinetic energy- the energy a moving body has.
