This looks the main fight out there to be made at Middleweight without doubt, Abraham is heavy handed just like Pavlik so it would make for great viewing, the fight between Pavlik and Lockett seems a bit of a farce to me, especially when there are some great matches to be made like the one you have mentioned. I think Pavlik may well take this one if it ever was made but it would be an absolute war and i would say you would have to run Abraham over with a truck to stop him he is hard as nails so i would say it would probably be on a close points decision. Would definitely be a contender for fight of the year.

It is really hard to say because Abraham hasnt had much exposure to good fighters besides miranda which he won a questionable fight. But watching abraham i would say he has got a serious chance of beating pavlik, but i still would put my money on kelly mainly because of pavliks height advantage.

Definitly Arthur Abraham. That man has a strength of will you don't find in any other middleweight and in addition to that a strong punch.

They are fairly even, but the true champion, Kelly Pavlik edges him out in almost every aspect by just a little bit.  They are both really strong for their weight, but I think that Pavlik is just a bit stronger.  The reason I think so is because when he fought Edison Miranda, he knocked the snot out of him, but when Abraham fought Miranda, he won a controversial decision and got his jaw broken in a fight that most people thought that he lost and should have been stopped.  Kelly also has a very good jab that is an excellent weapon when he uses it and he has more punching power than Abraham.  He has fought the better opposition and has had better results so far in his career.  I already pointed out the Miranda fight, but if you take a look at their past three fights, Kelly has faced far better opposition: Abraham knocked out Wayne Elcock, Khoren Gevor, and Elvin Ayala- none of those guys had any business fighting for a world title, even if it is the paper one that Abraham owns.  Pavlik on the other hand knocked out Miranda, knocked out Jermain Taylor to win the championship, and beat Taylor in their rematch- all world-class level fights.  It would be a good fight, and Abraham certainly has a good chance of winning, but I would go with Pavlik by a late-round knockout- these guys BOTH hit too hard for it to go 12 rounds.
