King Kreesa all set to prevail in the New York Stallion Series Stakes at Saratoga
After two consecutive victories, the New York bred, King Kreesa, is returning to the track with the hope of completing his hat-trick. He will attempt to extend his winning streak in the $100,000, New York Stallion Series Stakes at Saratoga, which will
be held on 8th August, 2012.
Running over a distance of 1 mile, the sophomore should have no problem at all, since he has the ability to take on large distances and has done it before.

However, the runner is better suited to the grass surface compared to the dirt, so that might pose as a hindrance.
Trained by Jeremiah Englehart, the runner excelled when the trainer moved him to turf in the 1 mile Claimers at Aqueduct, since then he has pretty much been at the top of his game, and seems to be getting better with every race.
Owned by Gerald and Susan Kresa, the runner ran twice in June this year, and showed that he is at the top of his game.

On 3rd June, he ran in the seven furlongs-New York Stallion Spectacular Bid Stakes and finished ahead of Western Tryst, whereas the third place was secured by, Wild Exploit.
With rider Irad Ortiz on his back, he completed the race in 1 minute and 22.54 seconds by a considerable margin of 5 lengths.
The runner’s performance in the London Company on 29th June was just as impressive, as Ortiz guided him to victory over the Christophe Clement trained, Easy Crossing, while Todd Pletcher’s charge, Star Channel finished third.
Regarding this performance, the trainer said:
“His last race was most impressive from a competitive standpoint.” Englehart remarked: “It was open-company 3-year-olds and Christophe Clement and Todd Pletcher had horses in there, and what they have at Belmont are the cream of the crop.”
With an overall record of 3-1-0 in 5 starts and earnings worth $131,620, everything seems to be working out for the runner. The trainer discussed the racing strategy and said:
“In his breezes he’s come from behind horses, so I’ll be fine whether he’s on the lead or coming from behind.”
In a work-out on 25th July, 2012 at Saratoga, King Kreesa completed 4 furlongs in 48.89 seconds so everything seems to be in order.
