1
King Nicky is expected to walk away with a comfortable victory in the Coral On TV Puppy Trophy - Heat 1 at Romford in England on Monday, August 6, 2012. The Grade OR winner will be awarded a cash prize of £150 in the end.
All of the runners taking part in the race are quite young, thus the competition will be an interesting one. They will have to cover an overall distance of 400 metres, which will test both their speed and stamina at the end of the day. The action at Romford
is scheduled to start at 19:26 GMT.
Although all the participants are inexperienced at this level, yet King Nicky has got an advantage over his opponents, as he has got a lot of talent. His speed is impressive and if everything goes right for him, it will be difficult for others to match him.
The bookmakers have got a lot of confidence in King Nicky and they believe that he will be unstoppable today, Due to this they have given him a general starting price of 10 to 11 and the punters would also be looking forward to place some money in his favour.
The E. McNair’s trainee made his first appearance in June 2012 and he has not participated in a lot of races since then. Despite that, he has proved what he is capable of by performing well in trial events.
Eden Brett’s son out of Droopys Ruby has participated in just a couple of Grade OR events and managed to do a reasonable job in them. He was priced 9 to 2 in the first one and was a touch nervous that time around. He started off slowly and failed to match
the speed of his rivals. In the end, he had to settle for fifth place, which was disappointing for his fans.
However, the white and black dog found some form next time around and took a comfortable victory in his next race. He was not rated as the favourite back then, but surprised one and all with a superb run, which earned him the top spot by two and a half lengths.
A similar run will definitely help King Nicky finish ahead of his opponents at Romford today.
