  1. If the other guy is moving his king and it is not on the board, yes.

    Otherwise it needs both Kings.


  2. In chess, the game may continue with one player possessing only a king.  The player may believe a stalemate is possible.  If there is a large disparity in strength, most players would concede before finding themselves in the one-king situation, unless of course that player did not respect the playing abilities and experience of the opponent.  If neither player is very experienced, it can be fun and good experience to play until completion.

  3. If it is the only thing on the board, you can continue, abiet being at a serious disavantage, I don't think it is possible to continue if only the two oppisite kings are on the board, (Kings can't go anywhere that makes them in danger.)
