Kings Island quesion.(mason, ohio)?

Did they shut down the vortex and the face off? or are they tearing down any rides??

Kings Island is not and has not torn down any rides. Those are just rumors. I was just there last Wednesday, and I rode both of those rides along with many others. It was my 5th time there this year.

I also get a weekly newsletter from the park, and the newsletters I have gotten have not said anything about any rides coming down.

They have, however, renamed some of the rides because Cedar Fair bought the park from Paramount so the movie-themed rides are no longer named after movies.

Italian Job is now Backlot Stunt Coaster. Face/Off is now Invertigo. Top Gun is now Flight Deck. Tomb Raider is now Crypt. Days of Thunder is now Thunder Alley, and Drop Zone is now Drop Tower.

I will tell you that the Racer only goes forward now, and is similar to the Gemini at Cedar Point, it has a red car and a blue car.

You can probably find the solution to your problem at www.gamespot.com. Try doing a key-word search. They have a hints and cheats section which is usually brilliant. Walkthroughs, cheat codes, tips on gameplay, plus it has additional links to forums and stuff with a ton of information to help you with other problems. Everything you could want to know about the game can be got to from that website.

Alternatively wikipedia.org usually has everything too.

Nope, they aren't tearing down their park, any of its current attractions, or changing anything major. What made you think that they were going to do that?
