Kings XI Punjab vs. Pune Warriors: Pune makes memorable IPL debut through emphatic victory
Pune Warriors have won their debut match of the Indian Premier League by 7 wickets against the Kings XI Punjab.
This is an emphatic victory by Pune considering the fact that they are appearing in the IPL for the first time, whereas Kings XI are playing in the League since 2008.

Both of them accumulated 60 runs for the second wicket and entertained the crowd through some spectacular stroke play. Ryder (31) and Manhas (35) played well before being sent back to the pavilion.

first ball of the 13th over.
Manhas remained the top scorer for Pune as he scored 35 runs off 32 balls with the help of 5 fours and a towering six. Ryder was much more aggressive as he made 31 off only 17 balls in which he struck 6 boundaries. Uthappa and Yuvraj made 22 and 21 runs
respectively and remained unbeaten.
