You mean for an actual person. It is a little strange. I probably wouldn't give my child a Spartan name though. Since they are outdated and wiped from the face of the Earth. And the movie 300 wasn't that great.

I like Kingsley without the Leonidas.

I would imagine that the parents were diehard 300 or Gerard Butler fans. I would never do that to a child.

I don't think Kingsley sounds that great with Leonidas.

Surnames used as first names are very popular right now. Lots of people are using them for girls.

People will think of Leonidas as a very strange name that geeks (History Geeks or Frank Miller fans) will give their kids.

So I don't think they really work well together. They're too different.

Also, people will think Kingsley is a girl's name. You'll introduce you're baby "This is my son, Kingsley" and people will be like "Aww, what a cute little girl she is." (I've seen people do this before with a boy named Kennedy, it was a family name). And you'll have to be "No, HE is my SON!"

I LOVE Leonidas.
