Kinloch Tiger set to win Betfred Bonus King 480m Puppy Maiden Trophy
The C. Allsopp trained brindle dog, Kinloch Tiger, is all set to seal first positing in the high-stakes event of the Betfred Bonus King 480m Puppy Maiden Trophy that will be held at Nottingham racecourse on Monday night, July 16. The Open Race will commence
at 22:07 (GMT).
On the flat course of 480 meters, the one-year-old novice runner will face five worthy competitors after breaking from the red box.
The brilliant son of Kinloch Brae out of Jeffys Brindle is on the verge of a hat-trick that he will try hard to complete tonight. However, he has never run any OR race so far. Thus, it will be quite a new experience for him participate in tonight’s marathon.
The dashing dog marvellously finished first in the A3 480m Flat at Monmore on June 30, 2012. He moved ahead to win the A2 480m Flat by the big margin of 4 lengths at the same venue on July 7.
These two back-to-back triumphs have boosted up the dog’s morale to a great extent along with making him the hot favourite contender this race.
Prior to these outings, the brilliant hound had gained a runner-up rank on June 25. He also grabbed a third on June 19. This is going to be Kinloch Tiger’s first ever favourite tag. Let us see how he manages to justify it.
On his way towards the finish line, the hot favourite hound will have to face a lot of resistance from Woodys Alabama who gained a lot of confidence and momentum by finishing first in his last outing on July 5, 2012. Earlier, the C. Lister trained black
dog had gained a runner-up position on June 27.
Like Kinloch Tiger, the son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Droopys Paloma too has not run any OR race so far. Thus, there is likely to be a battle of equals in the coming contest.
