Kiowa Sweet Trey one of the top US sires
Owner Vince Berland and Kay Smith’s dog was previously famous for his extraordinary achievements and title winnings, but after his retirement the hound has earned more fame due to his tremendous offspring.
This American greyhound was born on the 7th of January 2000, on the land of United States of America. Kiowa Sweet Trey is Oswald Cobblepot’s son who himself is a well known greyhound racer of his time.

The red and brindle dog started off with his career earnings from the year 2002, from the Derby Lane. The first Grade chase through which hound’s hidden talent was showcased was held on the 2nd of January 2002.
With his amazing pace and prompt attitude in the quest, the champ accomplished in winning the prize money for his owner.
Right after his start eleven-year-old hound’s victorious journey began. Fanatically Kiowa Sweet Trey presented twelve straight victories at Wheeling race course after his start. Then his victories continued with the count of thirteen from the dirt track
of Derby Lane.
Besides the impressive wins, Kiowa Sweet Trey has been successful in claiming the title of Rural Rube Award 2002.
Breeder Smith Greyhound’s dog, along with the unforgettable triumphs has also placed himself in the list of the best sires. He was rewarded as the Top U S sire from year 2007 till the year 2008.
Son of Oswald Cobblepot out of TM’s Sweet Dream Kiowa Sweet Trey, itself is fortunate to be a part of an amazing pedigree. His dam TM’s Sweet Dream is an eminent name in the greyhound industry due to the two champs she has produced and Kiowa Sweet Trey in
one of them.
Along with Derby Lane Kiowa Sweet Trey has set the Mardi Gras race track, Wichita and the Wheeling racing tracks on fire. The victorious hound has 31 – 42 – 1 in total forty one stars.
The last race after which the victorious dog was declared as retired was the Wichita Memorial Day Top Dog Feature scheduled on the 27th of May 2002. Kiowa Sweet Trey unfortunately finished off second in his quest by a ½ length.
This prominent hound is still recognised among the top greyhounds of America although he is performing his duties as an active sire.
