Kip Up question helpp

Ok... I'm trying to learn to do the kip up..

and everytime I "kick up" and try to stand up... i land on my back. AND it hurts like h311...

What am I doing wrong? Any advice/tips?

Also, do u think I should practice on a yoga mat or something (i practice at the YMCA so I can use these mats I guess lol)

oh btw, it STILL hurts when I land on my back even if I use a yoga mat lmfao ='[ ... hahaha

  1. start off landing in a U motion, w/ one leg bent and the other extending out, fall back in a U motion and have ur weight bring u back up and then work w/ the kip up


  2. KICK STR8 UP THEN BEND THE KNEES @ MAXIMUM HEIGHT AND PUSH RIGHT THEN WITH UR ARMS THAT SHOULD BE BEHIND UR HEAD

  3. watch some tutorials or even just videos on kip ups on you tube and see how they are doing it then maybe record yourself ding it and see what you are doing differently then try improve that.
