Kirby G5 Transmisson

Question

The neutral/drive lever fell out of my G5. I took it in to be repaired and they started pricing parts. They scared me away quoting $200 for a new transmission. I thought I would take the time to look at it myself. I found the problem easy enough. A small, internal, metal "lever" that slides onto the shaft of the N/D foot switch has slid off the shaft. I need a schematic showing: which direction this Lever" should face when I put it back onto the shaft and how to reinstall it. Can anyone provide help with this issue?
