Kirby Generation 3 no power...

Question

Kirby Generation 3, Wife was vacuming and we went to move the unit to another outlet and then it would not turn on as if power was gone. I think it could be the switch. This unit has been a workhorse for over 20 years so I am wondering if it is worth fixing or not. I'm pretty handy and would not mind taking on the repair myself but I can't seem to find detailed service manuals for this unit can any one give some ideas on what could be wrong or where to find the manuals to help fix it
