I have a Kirby Ultimate G that is not properly dispensing the Kirby carpet shampoo. It comes out in only 2"-3" strips. I thought the problem was the little mesh filter - it just sits loosely in there and tends to fall out into the connector tube - but I secured it with plumbing tape and the problem still occurs. I have also checked the sponge filter and it is fine.Please help - I am ready to take this thing to the pawn shop, since I bought it mostly for the shampooer! Oh, and I have read the other responses to similar problems, so no need to post links to manuals or to Kirby customer support. I'm looking for direct solutions, please.
