My Kirby ultimate G upright is shaking and catching when I push it forward, almost as if something is out of alignment. When I first bought it, I was told to lower the height adjustment until I could hear the vacuum make connection with the floor and then lower it one more notch past that for just the right suction. I can get the shaking to stop if I sweep with the vacuum lowered to just the point where it makes connection and not the extra notch lower, but it is definitely not picking up as well and also it will sometimes blow the particles to the side instead of sucking them up. I have taken the brush/roller out of its resting place and then put it back in, just to be sure that I hadn't replaced it incorrectly during a cleaning, but that didn't seem to help. Also, it is giving off a "musty vacuum" smell, which I thought was because the bag was ready to be emptied...but it is even doing it when I have a new bag in. I've also checked the belt to be sure it didn't need replaced or that there wasn't some hair or something causing it to give off that smell.
