Kirk Hinrich to the Nuggets?

Question

Reports say the nuggets are willing to trade a future 1st round pick (probably the 1 they got from charlotte) for kirk, and use the 10,000,000 trade exception. I love it as a Nuggets fan.

What do you think? will it happen?

I would love this trade.  I've been saying all along that the Nuggets should trade Camby for Hirich.  Well it didn't work out, but this would be a more indirect way to make it happen.  Obviously the Nuggets sought to do this trade and Chicago did not want to take on the aging Camby's contract.  So by finding a taker in the Clips the Nuggets can still make it happen with the trade exception.  It will cost them an extra first(probally the nuggets option on wether it would be theirs or charlottes(don't get charlottes unless out of the lottery).  It would be a high pick anyway.  Nuggets would be taking on a big contract but Kirk may be the perfect fit.  A bigger point guard that can guard the two on defense(so AI could guard the point),  Also could hit the three when Melo and AI pentrate and kick it out.  would get alot of assists.  Would give Denver many lineup options they could put out so many diffrent looks with Kirk, AI, Melo, Nene, Martin, JR, atkins, and Kleiza.  This would be a better team than last years Nuggets,  and if Nene stays healthy he can grow into the true center Denver needs with Camby gone.  As a Nuggets fan I hope these rumors are true.

they can finally get a true point guard.

i would guess they would then try to trade ai for some younger pieces or a down low presence.

If it will happens I will be happy.  I am a Bulls fan and I used to think Kirk was good, that is until I started watching other NBA games.  Maybe he would do better for the Nuggets.

why didn't they just trade Camby for Hinrich cause the Bulls need a center

or the Nuggets can make this trade
