I take goju-te karate. At my school, there are children's classes, adult classes, and black belt classes. I'm 17, I'm in the adult class. On Thursdays, the adult and black belt classes are combined. I'm currently learning kiso kumite 5, which is sweeps and arm bars. My problem: in the black belt class there are twin boys, around my age. The past two Thursdays I have done kiso 5 with a twin (I can't tell them apart, I don't know if it was the same twin both times). Both times, I ended up hurt. The right way to do the arm bars is to get the lock and then SLOWLY increase the pressure until the person taps out. The twin(s) do not do it slowly at all, so by the time I've tapped, I'm in pain because my elbow has been extended far past where I normally tap out. The first Thursday, I ended up in tears. The twin just stared at me until an instructor came over to see if I was ok. The regular instructor wasn't there that day. I didn't seriously hurt my arm, luckily. Please wait for more details
