Kissing with a retainer (with fake teeth on it)?

Question

Ahh.... so I have to get a retainer (in a few years) that has fake teeth on it because I'm missing adult teeth.....

So should I just be a dork and take it out (while uh, making out) or should I leave it in?

(Oh, and the fake teeth are going to be the two teeth right next to my big teeth.... and no, I'm not stuck with the lame retainer forever, I get fake teeth put in.)

well i dont rrealy care.. i usually dont wear it when im with friends anyway, but if im about to make out im not going to be like "wait hold on" take off my retainer and start kissing

If you have to take the teeth out in front of the person then no. You'll look kind of lame.

I vote to keep it in. I dated an airline stewardess once who lost her front teeth in a car accident. When she took the fakes one out it was spooky.

Do not take out your retainer to make out.  You risk freaking the guy out, and if it's someone you like, that's the last thing you want to do.    Although it is a touchy subject, you seem like a mature girl who takes things in stride.  Talk privately with your dentist about your concern.  I'm sure there is some advice he can give.  I've never worn a retainer, but I would imagine it will stay in securely, if you're not a total animal.  Good luck to you.

Dont take it out in front of him yeah they will probably think its gross I had a retainer for many years.Just excuse yourself and go tot the restroom and remove it.

TAKE THE RETAINER OUT!! I am just saying, do you want your breath to smell when you sneak a kiss with that special someone? I used to have one, and it smelled like CRAZY! Take it out when you feel you are going to make out.
