Kist makes a place in Semis as Norris faces exit
Amateur darts player, Christian Kist, has finally faced a breakthrough in this career. He attained a convincing victory in the semis of the World Championship, after defeating Alan Norris by 5-1.
25-year-old Kist, who intends to record his name among the best darts players from Holland, was able to deliver an exceptional performance by winning the first six legs of the game.
It was precisely the mistakes committed by Norris in the game that assisted Kist to stabilise his position. With his failure to hit a double 12, Kist got the opportunity to score some big points.
This provided him with a two-set lead and hence paved way for an excellent Shanghai 120 finish.
However, at some instances of the game, Norris tried his level best to bounce back with a 111 outshot.
Nonetheless, his attempt was effectively countered by Kist, with consecutive 180s to increase the arrears in the scores.
With Norris nailing another 180 soon after, it was time to design another strategy to meet the competition.
It was at this time moment of time when Kist was leading the game with 3-1. Pressure was building on Norris, whereas the new Dutch in darts was all set to increase the intensity.
The turning point of the game arrived when Kist was able to fire an 11-dart leg that gave Norris the ultimate shock he could not recover from throughout the remaining game.

It is important to mention here that after his victory, Kist, at present, stands at an average of 96. Therefore, Hankey will have to give his best in front of this amateur to rescue his position and reputation in the game.
