Kiteboarding?

I've been wakeboarding for like 6 years now, and i freaking love it, but i dont go that much because my bay is always so choppy and windy and we sold our boat..plus gas is expensive, so i was thinking about getting into kiteboarding. any advice for starting out? thanks everyone. much appreciated.

  1. I would probably go rent some equipment for your first time so you can see if you like it or not.  The equipment can be rather expensive.  A board will cost you anywhere from $400 to $800 depending on how nice you want to go.  The kite alone will cost around $250 to $500 again depending on the quality you are looking for.  Then you have to buy all the accessories for the kite like harness, handles, etc.
