does anyone have any knowledge of kitesurfing clubs in and around plymouth in devon uk......i am looking to learn and rather than pay a ton of money on a 2 or 3 day course.....i would rather barter my services as a carpenter/general builder..for some lessons.

And yes it sounds tight, but as a single dad of a child with special needs, money is tight and i would rather do it that way...cheers

  1. Kitesurfing (like windsurfing) is very much a solitary or small group pastime. Clubs are rare and it is more like a group of friends meeting on the beach for some fun.

They are very nomadic these groups and they go where the best wind and tides are for the day.

I think you are going to have to bite the bullet and pay for that course. That way you get the tuition you need and you get to meet like minded people. Your instructor will also advise you on the best place to go.

You will need to buy or rent all your own equipment following your training.
