  1. She will be fine. She will be tired when she first comes home and the vet will tell you not to let her jump and run for a few days. However, your kitten will know what she can and cannot do.

I have 12 cats at this time, all have been spayed or neutered. I have had many before these. I have never had any problem with them after being spayed. None of mine ever had personality changes after spaying.

Just keep an eye on her tummy to make sure that there is no infection. Tell your vet your concerns and he/she can reassure you that she will be fine.

Good to you and your kitty.

  2. Once you bring her home, she'll probably seem pretty out of it, due to the medication they give them. They aren't supposed to get too wild (running around a lot etc) after being spayed, they recommend that the animal is kept "quiet" for a day or so.

She will play once she is healed more. As for climbing windows, she will probably still do that, especially if something is catching her attention outside the window. Mostly, you just have to watch to make sure the incision is healing properly, no puss or redness. They will give you instructions and probably an instruction sheet when you pick her up after her surgery.
