  1. I agree with the others about geting a protective cone put around her neck. What you can do in the meantme is put surgical tape across the wound to hold the edges together so the cat can't do any more damage.

  2. my cats did the same thing you need to get the vet to put the stiches back in and get an elizabethan collar your cat can not get at her stiches then you leave it on for about 7 to 10 days it works

the collar is clear plastic that goes around there neck they can still eat and drink it just looks funny and they get use to it good liuck

  3. You need to call the Vet (if they're open, if not you'll have to wait until tomorrow) and let them know she chewed her stitches, they will either need to resuture that area, or they may just use some skin adhesive and "glue" it. She will also need a e-collar (cone) until she is healed, the cat will hate it but it's a necessity if she's bothering her incision. You can keep the cone off when she eats and when you can supervise her. I've been through 7 spay/neuter surgeries with my cats and dogs, all were fine except my puppy had to be odd man (woman) out and bother her incision. Try and discourage anymore l*****g/chewing tonight and call the Vet first thing in the morning.

  4. conehead time - should be fun

I never had one do this either, sorry.

  5. There is only one thing you can to.

Bring her back to the vet, and ask for a cone.

Cats do this all the time.

The cone goes around there head like this:

then they can't reach there stiches!

    good luck!

  6. They didn't put a cone on her!   You need to tape them until you get her back to the vet.   Second get a muzzle for tonight.
