  1. first off, deworm them BOTH. you can buy deworming medicine over the counter and do it yourself. if you do not feel comfortable doing that i would take them to the vet and have them do it.

  2. Buy Tape Worm Tablets at Petco.

  3. Nah just buy dewormer from a pet store. its alot cheaper!!!

  4. Oh no! I panicked the first time Luke Perry, my cat, poopied out worms. First of all, separate the infected cat by getting him hos own food/water bowls and his own litterbox (if you haven't already). This will hopefully avoid further contamination. next, You have 2 options: 1- go to a pet store, purchase an over the counter worm remedy that goes on his food (I actually put it on Luke's feet and he licked it off) or, if you feel more comfortable, get a worm medication from your Vet. Either way, remember that this is normal, and as long as you get on it and get it treated, the kitty will be fine.

  5. The proper thing to do is to bring a sample of the poo to the vet. There are many different types of worms and not all over the counter worm medications will work. also there are different types of worm meds for different types of worms and unless you know what kind of worms they are you could be wasting time and money. The vet will solve the problem first shot and instruct you from there.

  6. In your case I would take a stool sample from each cat  and take them to your vet. In  some cases you can find that both cats are infested, BUT, they could even have different worms than eack other.Your cats will need to be treated for the type of worm they have, and not all medications work for the same type of worm for example the heart worm would be treated differently than a tape worm. They need to be treated for the specific problem they have in the correct manner.

  7. get a pill from the vet they will fall right off

  8. If you can afford to take them to the vet you should.  A vet can diagnose the exact parasite affecting your cat and treat with the proper medicine.  If one has worms, the other ne does too.

If money is tight,  you would probably be safe using an over the counter cat wormer to rid them of the worms yourself.  Just be sure to follow dosage instructions and monitor poops for a while to be sure worm are gone.

    Good Luck!
